Indian education has improved a lot over the past two decades.

There are currently around 1.29 billion people in India, making it the second-most populous nation on the planet and the most populous democracy. However, most of us don't know who introduced the education system in India

Thomas Babington Macaulay introduced the Indian education system ( typical Indian schooling system)

Thomas Babington Macaulay, was a British historian and Whig politician.

He played a major role in the introduction of English and western concepts to education in India. He supported the replacement of Persian by English as the official language, the use of English as the medium of instruction in all schools, and the training of English-speaking Indians as teachers.
